r/196 is (was?) the successor subreddit to r/195.
r/195 was just a place for some roomates to post memes, and it was named after their apartment number. There was only one rule: if you visit the sub, you must make a post before leaving. The sub eventually grew in popularity, the original members couldn’t keep up with the demands of moderating it, and they closed it down. Soon after, r/196 was born and eventually far outgrew its progenitor.
r/196 also kind of just organically grew into a left-leaning, LGBTQ+ positive space. This was possibly helped because at the start, the only available user flair (a little phrase or icon that appears by your username on posts and comments) was “trans rights”.

They’ve got that silly chaotic energy I’ve come to expect from dimension 20, but right when Brennan started describing Troyánn’s setting Monét was really getting into it! And the way Bob described that first spell (I would love to see her gm someday) I was immediately hooked. Alaska and Jujubee really commit to the bit, I just feel like this group is gonna be a great balance.
But also are we only getting one set of outfits??? Cuz like… this should NOT be the season you start testing out one wardrobe
Since they film 2 episodes in one day, iirc, it wouldn’t make sense for them to get out of drag between episodes if they’re just gonna be back in an hour. maybe every 2 episodes they’ll change it up?
Naw you’re right, considering how much time goes into each look switching it up each episode would be a lot. I guess I was just excited to see all the fits this season?
But everything is vastly exceeding my expectations so I don’t think some outfit repeaters are going to ruin the experience
